Help your A & P students visualize the human body in 3D......without leaving your classroom!
Anatomy Practicals: Stackables that Teach
Follow along with my Anatomy & Physiology classes this year while they construct a life-sized 3D body as we study the body systems. Students are responsible for constructing a "patient" who, unfortunately, has a variety of illnesses and mishaps for every body system that we study. Within this Medical Mystery PBL, students are responsible for diagnosing their patients, developing a treatment plan, and educating their patients and families. At the end of the year, they will be asked to evaluate all the "issues" their patients have suffered and diagnose them with an overarching disease or disorder (such as diabetes, heart disease, etc). They will also have constructed a complete, life-sized 3D patient that contains every body system. Please view the video below to see what their "patients" will look like when they are completely assembled.
